How long have you been in business?
Runabout Couriers has been serving the Space Coast since 1993.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide same day delivery of a variety of items. Runabout delivers a variety of items throughout the Space Coast and to areas outside of Central Florida. We have the capacity to deliver everything from envelopes to freight (multiple pallets for example). While all of our drivers begin their day in Brevard, we send drivers to Volusia, Indian River, and Orange counties every business day. Runabout Couriers operates on a 24/7/365 schedule.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
After obtaining a Marketing degree from Troy University, I became involved with Runabout Couriers while assisting with a request for proposal. After completing the RFP I had an opportunity to work within the organization and eventually became co-owner.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
One of the main things that makes Runabout Couriers different is our drivers being employees and operating in company vehicles. While many companies in our industry use independent contractors, we chose to operate with uniformed employees. We wanted our drivers to be recognizable when entering a clients facility.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Runabout operates out of one central facility in Cocoa, FL. While we plan to expand our coverage area, we do not have any immediate plans for additional facilities.

Runabout Couriers is located 1.6 miles east of I-95 on Highway 520 in Cocoa. We are close to the intersection of Range Rd and Hwy 520 (West King St.).
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Clients also have the option of establishing an account and receiving invoices for services provided.
Which areas do you service?
Runabout Couriers services Brevard, Indian River, Volusia counties, along with the greater Orlando area. We will pick up or deliver to any point in Florida.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Runabout Couriers is co-owned by Mike Milam and Ken DeTorrres.
What are your hours of operation?
We provide services around the clock, so Runabout never closes! We operate on a 24/7/365 schedule.
